Thomas Keehn,
B.S., M.M., Lebanon Valley College, Oberlin Conservatory, West Chester
University. is best know as an educator and musician. As band director for
Kingston High School, his band performed in New York City, Baltimore,
Washington, Williamsburg, and three times in Disney World, Orlando, FL. They
represented New York State at the National Cherry Blossom Festival,
Washington, D.C.
As a trombonist, he performs with The Tudor Brass Players of New York, in Catskill resorts, The Woodstock Chamber Orchestra and was trombonist for 25 years with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. He has also performed as baritone vocal soloist for Hudson Valley Churches and Choral Societies. Mr. Keehn and his wife, Cecelia, (Ret. Coordinator of Music at UCCC) are Music Directors at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kingston, NY. Since his retirement from Kingston High School, he organizes and directs performance tours for student music groups for Goodwill Travel. In addition he organized and directed the Ulster College Community Symphonic Band. He has since retired from UCCC and is currently directing the Tophatters and the Kingston Lions Club Roarin' Pride Band. |
